3 years 8 Months 2 weeks and 4 days of waiting!

I am a bit late on posting this but.....I received a referral last week for a beautiful two year old girl.  I always enjoy reading peoples referral story but I have to say mine is not so glamorous.  I received the call as I was laying on my couch with the flu!   Not exactly how I had imagined it but made my day regardless!    Now I await a court date!!!!! so that I can meet my beautiful little girl! 

3 Years!

Today marks three years since my file landed in Ethiopia (at least by my counting however the agency counted earlier this month for some reason).  Never did I think I would be still waiting at this time - almost three times as long as I was told intitally.  This month has been very difficult with many uncertianties of whether the adoption would even continue due to finicial issues with the coordinator I am working with.  I am so very thankful that the Northcotts have generiously offered to support the agency for a short time.  Now all that needs to happen is referrals need to start coming!    I hope for all those that have waiting - so patiently (most days) adoptions begin to move forward again.  Fingers crossed the next while brings good news for many!
